As the HR Generalist, you get to:

  • Be an integral part of a small but mighty HR team, work collaboratively with all four offices in Canada, UK, Ireland and the US, contribute to FINCAD's success, and commit to continuous learning and improvement while having fun!
  • Be in a company whose leaders believe ensuring a high-performance culture is a strategic priority.
  • Coach, support and train managers and team members throughout employment lifecycle.
  • Own and take a strategic approach to how you deliver core HR programs including:
    • Annual performance and talent management cycle, including compensation reviews and salary surveys;
    • Talent development initiatives, focusing on manager development programs;
    • Top Employer recognition and employee engagement measurement, via our Pulse Check Survey;
    • Global benefits management and administration;
    • Work closely with immigration lawyers/consultants to facilitate global mobility and work permit/visa application processing;
    • FINCAD Handbook and policy compliance, contract templates and employee documentation.
  • Contribute to talent acquisition strategy, when required.
  • With broad exposure, develop your experience and potential to realize your future career goals.

You are:

  • A Talent professional with a passion for contributing to a company's success via its talent strategy and have strong business acumen, eager to understand FINCAD's complex business.
  • Not afraid to partner with business leaders and effectively influence their talent decisions.
  • Smart, curious and a life-long learner, eager to work in an intellectually challenging environment.
  • Able to handle the operations side while seeing the big picture and asking strategic questions.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, efficient and results focused; look to leverage technology to continuously improve operational efficiency in what you and others do.
  • Able to work autonomously and drive solutions forward, removing roadblocks as necessary.
  • Thoughtful and consider different perspectives, and bring values based judgement to your decisions.
  • Experienced in, or have had exposure to, most core areas of HR and want continue to learn and grow.
